Policies

Prices:  All prices are net.  Although every effort will be made to maintain pricing as published, all prices are subject to change without notice.  Invoices reflect prices in effect at time of shipment. Discounted pricing is available for specific customers including transit authorities, government agencies etc. Note: Filters are sold as each. Discounts are available on case quantities.

Terms: Open account terms, available to approved accounts, are Net 30 days from date of invoice.  Payments should be made from the invoice.  Past due accounts are subject to credit review.

C.O.D. terms from UPS are money orders, cashiers check,  or company check.  MasterCard, VISA, and American Express, debit and credit cards are also accepted.  We are also accepting payment via PayPal online.

Shipping: All prices are FOB, shipping point.  Freight is considered collect and added to the invoice total, unless otherwise agreed by Bus Service, Inc.
 All orders are shipped as soon as possible. On high volume days, orders will be shipped in the order they were received, except for overnight and 2nd day air emergency orders.

Order Processing:  The customer will be invoice only for actual quantities shipped.  Backorders will be process according to the terms of the original order unless otherwise specified.

Shipping Errors:  Please report any shortage or shipping errors immediately upon receipt of merchandise.

Warranty: Bus Service, Inc. warrants that parts sold will be the kind and quality described in the order.  Bus Service, Inc's liability is limited to credit for, or replacement of, product found to be defective in normal and proper use within 90 days of date of invoice.  Bus Service, Inc. accepts no responsibility for misuse of its products.  Bus Service, Inc. is not liable for consequential damages, commercial loss, personal injury, labor claims or loss of profits.  This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty, whether expressed or implied.

Returns: All returns require prior authorization. Return requests must be within the first 30 days.  Special order items cannot be returned. Unauthorized returns are subject to a 25% handling charge.  All returns are subject to final inspection.  Bus Service reserves the right to deny credit based on condition of returned parts.  All returns must be shipped freight prepaid.
